One of the coolest parts of Riffa Fort was the fact there was this state school across the street. There were bars on the windows and these little kids were climbing the bars and walls. It sounded and looked totally nuts. They saw us and started waving and yelling all the English they knew at us: "Hello!", "New York!", "I love you!". It was pretty neat.
