Evelyn and her friend Faye came in third place in the Elementary Open category of the 3rd World Robotics Olympiad in Bahrain. The theme was protecting UNESCO World Heritage sites so the girls did a model of the Qal'at al-Bahrain, well, actually the Tylos Fort at the site. Their model used Lego bricks, mini-figures and the robotics system, a fewPlaymobile accessories and a lot of creativity. A motor turned the scene from day, when a drawbridge opened; to night, when the drawbridge came up and a campfire started glowing. Good job girls! They were the youngest competitors there!
