Formula One
Someone very generously gave us tickets to watch the Formula One race in Bahrain. And even better, they offered to babysit Edward for us! So nice! It was incredibly loud- those high performance cars have this high pitched noise that is totally unique and they zip on by you almost too fast to really see. We had a great time!

The Hungry Bunny
Beware the Hungry Bunny! This Saudi Arabia based fast food chain lured us in with Spongebob pinwheels they handed to the kids before we had decided which food court option looked good. Roger ordered a club sandwich- but here is the thing about club sandwiches, pork products are important ingredients! So he got a breaded chicken paddy, egg salad and American cheese slice with weird relish sauce. I loved all the characters on their "Happy Meal" box. Pink Panther, Garfield and old school Mickey Mouse. That with the Spongebob pinwheel, you can tell copyright and trademark issues are a non issue. It was pretty gross. But not as gross as the fish and chips we ordered a few weeks before. Unseasoned, flavorless breaded fish, fried chicken with no flavoring and fries with no salt. Everything was straight from the freezer into the fryer with no seasoning. We took it to a nearby beach, which was stinky- with flies swarming. So after a bite or two, it was straight in the trash. It is funny, I won't remember a lot of our good meals, but I will always remember these terrible two!
